Wells to process new reserve’s natural gas deposits
Nasrul Hamid, Bangladesh’s State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, made the announcement about the new gas reserve’s discovery on Monday.
Hamid’s ministry in a statement revealed that the new reserve, named as Bhola North-2 Appraisal Well, has an estimated gas extraction of more than 20 million cubic feet per day.
At around the depth of 3,428 meters, BAPEX struck the gas.
Writing on his Facebook page, Hamid stated the Petrobangla company will dig 46 new development, exploration, work-over, and development wells by the year 2025.
