At OIC Extraordinary Meeting: Hissein Taha Asks that No Punishment for Israel’s Criminal Deeds Encourages it

The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Hissein Brahim Taha, hs asked that Israel’s impunity has givign it courage it keep its war crimes and continue its policies. This has entirety equals to to war crimes plus crimes against humanity that merits proper investigation and real accountability against Israel.

This was a segment of his speech made on his behalf by Ambassador Samir Bakr Diab, Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine and Al-Quds Ash-Sharif, at the General Secretariat during the extraordinary open-ended session of the OIC Executive Committee (EC), Monday, February 27, 2023, at its headquarters in Jeddah, Saudia Arabia. The meeting discussed with many issues of the oppression of the Israeli war crimes against the citizens of Nablus and the all land of the nation of Palestine. This has recently claimed lives of 11 martyrs and wounded dozens of Palestinians citizens.

In his remarks, the Secretary-General said that international laws are not seen, especially while Israel, the oppressing brutal force, increases its crimes and cares noting about laws. It also perpetuates its colonial settlement tenure in the Palestinian lands under the nose of the so called international community, which pointes to its continuous violation of international laws. It also voilates the Geneva Conventions and United Nations resolutions, which asks and is due to the lack of implementation of political, legal, or humanitarian deterrent.

The Secretary-General offered his heartfelt sympathies to all the families of the martyrs who lost lives due to of the war crime of Israel’s attack on the city of Nablus. This has extending a salutation of admiration for the bearing the burnt by Palestinian people. H. E. Hissein Taha criticises the monstrous crimes that taking place in Nablus and before that in the cities of Jericho and Jenin and knwon that these another addition in the not ending past of the occupation’s sins against the poor Palestinian denzens.

The Secretary-General called on the OIC Member Nations to add to written statements and oral rows to the International Court of Justice, which had called upon by the United Nations General Assembly to express an advisory view on the legal status of the Israeli occupation.
