KARACHI: With the aim to pay tribute to Pakistani music, the Arts Council of Pakistan on Friday launched a colorful “Pakistan Music Festival” at the Jaun Elia Lawn in Karachi.
Speaking on the occasion, the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi President, Muhammad Ahmed Shah expressed that the Arts Council is making efforts to provide relief to people and offer them occasions of enjoyment. He maintained that their aim is to show the bright face of Pakistan.

Ahmed Shah said that the council is paying rich tributes to Pakistani music.
He said that around 200 artists from Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab are performing their artisan skills at the event adding that the festival will offer all kinds of music to enthrall the audience.
The festival was opened with DrumCircle “Tilkari”; where, Mustafa Baloch, Pakistani Sufi Rock, Jambros Band, Medley, Filmy music, and Imran Ali performed at the festival. APP
