RIYADH: The 32nd Arab League summit is likely to be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on May 19, the League of Arab States said in a statement on Sunday.

The statement added that the Arab League summit will be preceded by several meetings between ministers and senior officials. It added that an Arab Development summit will also be held in Mauritania in the current year. It said that the Arab-African Summit will be organized in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). However, dates have not yet been announced for the summits.
History of Arab League
Arab League is regional forum of Arab nations in the Middle East and parts of Africa. The league was established in Cairo, Egypt on March 22, 1945.

The founding member nations were Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), and Yemen. Other members are Libya, Sudan, Tunisia, Morocco, Kuwait, Algeria, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, UAE, Mauritania, Somalia, the Palestine Liberation Organization, Djibouti, and Comoros.
