RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Pakistan seized over 46 kg of illicit drugs during four counter-narcotics operations and arrested two accused, said a spokesman of an Anti-Narcotics Force Headquarters on Monday.
The spokesman further said that in an operation at Lahore International Airport Cargo, the Anti-Narcotics Force recovered 7.8 kilograms of heroin from a parcel that was booked for England.
ANF also recovers heroin-filled capsules
Anti-Narcotics Force also recovered 60 heroin-filled capsules in another operation at Faisalabad Airport from the possession of a passenger who was traveling from Sargodha to Sharjah on flight number G-9563.
In a joint operation conducted in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the Anti-Narcotics Force and Frontier Corps (FC) recovered over 37 kilograms of charras while two kilograms were seized in Sukkur. The accused who was a resident of Sukkur was arrested later. Separate cases have been registered at respective Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Police Stations and further investigations are underway.
