KABUL: The families and relatives of the victims of foreign forces’ raids in Afghanistan have demanded compensation and justice, local media reported on Wednesday. The families and relatives of the victims of foreign forces’ raids in Mata Khan District of Paktika said that more than forty people including women and children were killed in the raid fifteen years ago.

The residents of Ibrahim Kariz village told the local media they lost their families members during the deadly raid. The locals said that they would never pardon the killers of their people.
Mohammad Barat, a relative of the victims said that eleven people of his family including his mother, father and brother were killed in the raid.
Another relative of the victims, Fazal Rehman asked the International Criminal Court (ICC) to take measures against the perpetrators of the raid. He demanded compensation and justice.
The provincial governor Paktika Faizullah Jamal said war crimes were committed across the country during last two decades.
The governor urged the human rights organizations and world to play their role to raise their voices and must ensure their rights.
Earlier, the UK based Guardian newspaper reported that as many as 80 Afghan civilians may have been victims of summary killings by 3 separate British Special Air Service units—that were operating in Afghanistan from 2010 to 2013.
