ISLAMABAD: Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg on Thursday arrived at Switzerland’s Davos where the World Economic Forum’s summit is being held. Thunberg accused the attendees that they are the ones who are fueling the planet’s destruction the destruction of the planet”.
The climate activist stated that we (inhabitants of the planet) are seemingly relying on people, who are fueling the planet’s destruction, to solve our problems. These are the very people who are responsible for the climate crisis and invest in fossil fuels and the like.
The 20-year-old climate activist spoke on the sidelines of the WEF with fellow activists Vanessa Nakate of Uganda, Helena Gualinga of Ecuador, and Luisa Neubauer of Germany at a CNBC panel that included the head of the International Energy Agency (IEA) Fatih Birol.

Thunberg maintained that it is needed that the change comes from “bottom-up”.
She stressed massive public pressure was needed to make these people stop getting away from being irresponsible regarding the climate crisis. These people will keep investing in fossil fuels and, at the same time, blaming others for their own gain.
