Russian Strike Kills one, Injure 14 in Ukraine
In another development, the Ukrainian government has asked its civilians residing near the northeastern front line to leave the area as Moscow has increased the number of the strike in a bid to take control of the Ukrainian territory.
Moscow said earlier that it shot downed eleven Ukrainian drones near the Crimean peninsula and 2 heading for Moscow in the latest wave of strikes targeting Russia.
Diplomatic efforts to address the situation took an important step forward with a peace conference hosted by Saudi Arabia.
Despite Russia’s absence, representatives from different countries, including China, India, and the United States, met in Jeddah for discussions.
While Ukraine uttered satisfaction with the initiative, Moscow dismissed the summit’s impact, stressing the need for Russia’s involvement in any diplomatic resolution.
