ISLAMABAD: The Banking Mohtasib of Pakistan has provided financial relief worth over three billion rupees in the period April 2019- July 2023 to banking customers by solving 106,486 cases.
The performance of the institution came under discussion when Banking Mohtasib Muhammad Kamran Shehzad held a farewell meeting with President Dr Arif Alvi at Aiwan-e-Sadr here in Islamabad on Monday.
The Banking Mohtasib apprised President Ali about the measures taken by him to provide financial relief to the customers by disposing of a huge number of cases during his tenure.
He underlined that the institution provided fiscal relief amounting to 2.3 billion rupees to the banking customers during thirteen years (2005 and 2018) whereas during his term (April 2019- 17 July 2023), he had provided more than 3 billion rupees to the banking customers.
