Islamabad—As many as 19 people were killed including 8 children and 9 women, when a bus caught fire on Wednesday night near Nooriabad in Sindh’s district Jamshoro.
According to the motorway police, the bus was going to Kherpur Nathan Shah from Karachi. The fire was caused by a short-circuit in the air conditioner of the bus and the blaze engulfed the entire bus within a short span of time. Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro has said that the fire killed 19 people and their dead bodies could not be identified as these were completely burnt.
The bodies will be handed over to relatives after wrapping in the plastic bags in coffins.
