ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani have exchanged Eidul Azha greetings via telephone, local media reported on Thursday. They extended their sincere greetings and well wishes on the auspicious occasion of Eidul Azha.
Prime Minister Felicitates Qatar Emir on Eidul Azha
Islamabad and Doha have a strong bond based on a same goals, culture and religion. The two countries maintain a strong relationship that includes cooperation in the sectors of energy, trade, labour, IT and food security.
Earlier, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan and PM Shehbaz Sharif also exchanged Eid greetings. The Prime Minister felicitated the government of Turkey and Turkish people via phone on the occasion of Eid.
The Turkish President also conveyed Eid greetings to the people of Pakistan in response to PM Shehbaz’s words.
