PESHAWAR: The Paramedical Association of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Friday staged a sit-in Peshawar on Friday against the non-payment of salaries to project employees from last year.
The protesters warned the caretaker provincial government and the health department in KP of boycotting all hospitals’ services from June 22 if their demands were not addressed.
The protesters raised slogans against the health department over non-payment of the salaries of the paramedical staff working on the projects.
They also demanded the removal of the registrar and controller while maintaining that the official appointed on the posts were irrelevant and creating problems for the paramedic and other staff.
