ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Innovation and Technology of Ethiopia Dr Foziya Amin has said that trip of Ethiopian delegation to Pakistan would contribute to strengthen trade ties between the two sides, local media reported on Saturday
The Minister said that there are vast opportunities of cooperation between Pakistan and Ethiopia in various fields including IT, economy, technology and science.
Pakistan and Ethiopia ties
Dr Foziya Amin said that they should take complete benefit of them as Pakistan is an important nation for Ethiopia in South Asia because of its geographical location and Ethiopia is a gateway for Islamabad in Africa. She was addressing a luncheon reception hosted by ICCI in honor of the visiting Ethiopian high-level delegation.
The Minister said that women have a key role in the economic development and progress of a nation and appreciated the role of Pakistani women in different fields including economy and business.
Jemal Beker Abdula, envoy of Ethiopia to Pakistan, said the start of direct flights between Ethiopia and Pakistan would be helpful in enhancing investment and business relations between the two nations.
