RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s military officials said on Wednesday that eight terrorists were killed during an operation in Zinghara area of South Waziristan.
Eight terrorists killed in South Waziristan: ISPR
In a statement the military’s media wing said that the security forces carried out the operation upon the presence of terrorists in the area. ISPR added, “eight terrorists were killed during intense exchange of fire between the security forces and terrorists including mortar fire”. According to ISPR, “two soldiers were also wounded” in the exchange of fire between the security forces and terrorists. ISPR further said, “unfortunately, two children embraced martyrdom during exchange of fire”.
