ISLAMABAD: Pakistan pavilion at a three-day mega global tourism event titled ‘ITB Berlin 2023‘ grabbed the attention of international tourism stakeholders as a large number of foreign tourists intended to visit Pakistan to explore the beauty of the country. The mega event was concluded in Germany on Friday. Many international tourists visited Pakistan’s pavilion and intended to visit Pakistan to explore the incredible tourist destinations of the south Asian country.
Tourism Potential
Pakistan Tourism Development Cooperation (PTDC), the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Pakistan’s Embassy in Germany, provincial tourism departments, and private sector partners took part in ITB Berlin 2023 to display the rich tourism potential of the country with a view to boosting tourism in Pakistan.
The mega event provided a platform to display the huge potential of Pakistan’s tourism industry and generate linkages with the leading international stakeholders of the tourism industry which will help a lot to attract more and more tourists.
Pakistan is home to one of the oldest civilizations on the globe. It has countless sites of scenic beauty, the world’s highest mountains, many historical and religious places, unique crafts and arts, and a rich heritage and culture.
