FAISALABAD: The concluding ceremony of the annual sports gala-2023 was held at Saleem Campus of The University of Faisalabad (TUF) on Friday.
Divisional Commissioner Sailwat Saeed graced the event as the chief guest. The sports event was a grand gathering that witnessed the participation of students from various disciplines of the university. Over the course of six days, scores of students displayed remarkable sports spirit and teamwork, which made the event more memorable. The students’ dedication and hard work were eminent as they competed in various sports comprising table tennis, cricket, throw ball, netball, badminton, and other athletics.
Female Participation in Annual Sports Gala
Commissioner Sailwat Saeed awarded certificates and trophies to the winners and extended her heartfelt congratulations to all the participating students. She hailed the efforts of university management for promoting sports and co-curricular activities among female students.
The Department of Physical Therapy team clinched the first slot and received the general trophy. The Department of Optometry grabbed the second position, while the Pharmacy team sustained the third slot.
Faiza Tariq from the Department of Physical Therapy was declared the best contender of the tournament.
