ISLAMABAD/LONDON: The international North Korea Association for Human Rights and Democracy (INKHRD), a group representing North Korean defectors and human rights activists living in the UK, held a protest demonstration in front of the North Korean Embassy in London ahead King Jong Un’s birthday celebrations.

Earlier, North Korea showcased extensive weapons of mass destruction such as the Hwasong-17 and solid-fuel ICMs, at a military parade on February 8, where King Jong Un featured his daughter Ju Ae in an apparent display of his ambition for hereditary dictatorship.

The protesters asked where does the astronomical amount of money for the military parade as well as dictator Kim Jong Un’s governing funds and nuclear development costs come from?

The protesters in front of the North Korean embassy said that North Korean government-owned insurance company Korea National Insurance Corporation, sanctioned in the UK for international insurance fraud on September 2016, was against targeting the UK government.
