WASHINGTON: The US Defense Officials said on Tuesday that Washington has approved the potential sale of long-range rockets and missiles to Poland in an agreement valued at up to $10 billion.

According to Pentagon, the potential deal was approved by the US State Department. The development comes as Kyiv has lauded their American-made High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems known as (HIMARS) rocket launchers for their battleground successes such as destroying Russia’s warehouses and command posts.

According to Reuters, the package includes 45 of the 185-mile (297-km) range Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), 18 HIMARS launchers, and over 1,000 Guided Multiple Rocket Launch System (GMLRS) rockets.
