APC on Terrorism Postponed, Again

ISLAMABAD: The All Parties Conference (APC) scheduled to be held on February 9 (Thursday) has been postponed for the second time Tuesday as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is leaving for a visit to Turkiye after a devastating earthquake hit the brotherly country on Monday.

Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb tweeted about the postponement of the All Parties Conference. She said that PM Shehbaz will leave for Ankara tomorrow (Wednesday) morning to express his condolences to the people of Turkiye, over the destruction and loss of life in the earthquake.

She added that the new date of the APC will be announced after consultation with the stakeholders. The Conference was earlier scheduled for February 7 and later postponed to be held on February 9, following the recent wave of terrorism in Pakistan.
