ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia’s East-West Pipeline in the Riyadh and Madinah regions, describing the strikes as a violation of international law and a threat to regional stability.
Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks caused damage to the pipeline and resulted in injuries to civilians.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the ministry expressed solidarity with the leadership, government and people of Saudi Arabia.

The Foreign Office said targeting civilian infrastructure was unacceptable and represented a violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Pakistan Supports Saudi Arabia
Pakistan reaffirmed its support for Saudi Arabia’s security, sovereignty and prosperity, saying the two countries share close and longstanding relations.
The ministry said such attacks pose serious risks to peace and stability in the region and stressed the importance of protecting critical infrastructure from security threats.

“Pakistan reaffirms its unwavering support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, security and prosperity of the Kingdom,” the Foreign Office said.
Regional Stability Focus
Pakistan said it would continue efforts aimed at promoting lasting peace and stability in the region.
The statement followed drone attacks on the East-West Pipeline, a major Saudi energy facility connecting oil-producing areas in the east with ports on the Red Sea coast.
The pipeline plays an important role in Saudi Arabia’s energy infrastructure by providing an alternative route for oil transportation.
Pakistan’s condemnation comes as regional countries continue to emphasise cooperation and diplomatic efforts to address threats against vital facilities and maintain security.
