QUETTA: Students in Balochistan have been offered an opportunity to pursue education with merit-based scholarships as Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges opens registration for the MAGIS 2026/3 scholarship and admission examination in the Quetta Region.
The examination will be held on November 1, 2026, while eligible students can apply online until October 25 through the official MAGIS examination portal.
Admission opportunity for Grades 4 to 9 and IGCSE
The examination is open to students seeking admission to Grades 4 to 9 and IGCSE. Candidates can register and pay the examination fee online through the Maarif examination portal.
Results of MAGIS 2026/3 will be considered as part of the admission and scholarship assessment for the 2027-28 academic session. The new K-8 and SSC-I session in the Quetta Region is scheduled to begin on March 1, 2027.
Final decisions on admissions and scholarships will be based on academic criteria, applicable scholarship categories and the availability of seats.

IGCSE candidates may qualify for boarding campuses
The examination will also include a dedicated IGCSE admission category for eligible candidates appearing from Quetta.
Successful candidates may be considered for admission to relevant boarding campuses, including Peshawar Boys Campus, Islamabad Boys Campus, International Maarif Schools Islamabad for female candidates and Lahore Boys Campus.
The IGCSE-I session is scheduled to begin in April 2027, with final admission decisions to be made by the respective schools according to candidates’ preferences, admission criteria and available seats.
More than 5,500 students appeared in MAGIS
MAGIS, or the Maarif Entrance Examination, is a standardised assessment used by Pak-Turk Maarif to evaluate students for admission and merit-based scholarship opportunities.
More than 5,500 students from across Pakistan participated in the nationwide MAGIS examination earlier this year. The institution says the test is aimed at identifying talented and ambitious students and providing them with opportunities for academic development.

With MAGIS 2026/3, the examination opportunity has been extended to students in the Quetta Region, providing candidates in Balochistan with access to admission and scholarship opportunities.
Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges offers several academic programmes, including IB-PYP, BTEC, IGCSE, A-Level, SSC, HSSC and Turkish language education.
