ISLAMABAD: Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry would be produced before the court of judicial magistrate Waqas Ahmed Raja after the expiry of his two days remand today.
Judicial Magistrate Waqas Ahmed Raja in his order issued on Saturday had directed the Islamabad police to produce him before his court on Monday (today) upon the expiry of his remand.
It is to mention here that before his departure to Lahore for forensic tests on Sunday, Fawad Chaudhry complained of “custodial torture”, and had filed a plea seeking his medical examination in the court of judicial magistrate.

The PTI mouthpiece was arrested on Wednesday under sedition charges for allegedly threatening members of the Election Commission of Pakistan during a media talk and was taken to Lahore by the Islamabad police. He was shifted back to the federal capital on Monday (today) after his tests were conducted. Fawad Chaudhry has already been interrogated and questioned during his initial 2-day physical remand.
