PESHAWAR: District Police North Waziristan has tightened security in the area and a strict checking mechanism has been in place at entrances and exits as well as other important public places.
The measures have been taken while keeping in view the security situation in the country.
Police have increased patrolling and snap-checking to provide security to the lives and properties of the people.
Police officers are checking the movements of suspected people and vehicles at check posts.
Motive of security measures
District Police Officer (DPO) North Waziristan Saleem Riaz said in a statement that the motive of security measures is to ensure the safety of the general public and the maintenance of law and order.
He urged the people to fully cooperate with police at checking points and obey rules and regulations.
