RAWALAKOT: The Pakistan Army organised a free mobile medical camp in Rawalakot, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, providing medicines and medical consultations to thousands of local residents, including women, children and elderly people.
The medical camp was set up at 15 Chowk as part of efforts to make basic healthcare facilities accessible to people at their doorstep.
According to information provided by the organisers, more than 5,300 patients were provided with medicines free of cost during the camp, while medical staff examined over 141 people and provided them with necessary medical advice and treatment.
Women, children and elderly residents were among those who benefited from the medical services offered at the camp.
The initiative received a positive response from local residents, who welcomed the provision of free and timely healthcare facilities.
Residents appreciated the Pakistan Army and law-enforcement agencies for arranging the medical camp and extending assistance to the local population.
