MADINAH: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has announced that around 235 tonnes of Zamzam water is distributed daily at the Prophet’s Mosque to serve worshippers and visitors throughout the year.
The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance services at the two holy mosques, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.
More than 10,000 Zamzam water dispensers are placed across the Prophet’s Mosque and its courtyards.
The dispensers are regularly refilled and closely monitored, while routine quality and safety inspections are carried out using advanced water-testing technologies to ensure worshippers have safe, reliable, and convenient access to the blessed water.
These services are part of the authority’s integrated ecosystem for caring for visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque and providing services to the highest standards of quality and operational efficiency.
