RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday expressed the Kingdom’s strongest condemnation and denunciation of the continued Israeli aggression against Lebanon, reaffirming its categorical rejection of attacks on Lebanon’s sovereignty and army.
In a statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry conveyed the Kingdom’s sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Lebanon, following the deaths of members of the Lebanese Army, including officers, while carrying out their national duty.
The Kingdom also reaffirmed its solidarity with Lebanon and its brotherly people in the face of all threats to their security and stability.

Saudi Arabia also strongly condemned the attack on a United Nations peacekeeping position in southern Lebanon that resulted in the death of one soldier and injured several others.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Kingdom expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the attack, describing it as an unacceptable act against international peacekeeping personnel.

Saudi Arabia reiterated its firm rejection of attacks targeting peacekeeping forces and stressed the importance of ensuring the safety and security of personnel serving under international mandates.
The Kingdom called for all those responsible for attacks against peacekeeping, relief and humanitarian workers to be held accountable in accordance with international law.
“The Kingdom reiterates its complete rejection of attacks on peacekeeping forces and calls for all perpetrators of attacks against peacekeeping, relief and humanitarian personnel to be held accountable,” the ministry said.
