Describing diplomats as “trusted harbingers of international harmony,” the envoy said they serve as the architects of peace, entrusted with navigating the intricate complexities of international relations through dialogue, empathy, and mutual understanding.
In a post on social media platform X, he emphasised that diplomacy is not merely about statements or formal exchanges, but a sustained and patient effort to build bridges between nations.

In his remarks, the Iranian envoy extended sincere and profound appreciation to Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, acknowledging his role in supporting diplomatic initiatives and fostering engagement at a political level.
He also commended veteran, competent, and career diplomats within Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, recognising their tireless and often unseen efforts in facilitating, coordinating, and meticulously preparing arrangements for delegations and high-level talks—frequently well before negotiations formally begin.
According to him, these efforts are critical in transforming political will and principled intent into practical frameworks that allow diplomatic processes to take shape.
He stressed that such work represents diplomacy in its truest sense: the quiet, persistent, and disciplined labour that enables dialogue and makes the pursuit of peace achievable.
The ambassador further stated that the professionalism, dedication, and commitment of Pakistan’s diplomatic corps deserve deep recognition and gratitude, as they play a fundamental role in sustaining international engagement and advancing peaceful cooperation.
His remarks also signal broader recognition of Pakistan’s growing role as a facilitator in regional and extra-regional diplomacy, particularly in efforts to bridge communication between the United States and Iran.
