LAHORE: Karachi Kings registered their third consecutive win in the Pakistan Super League season 11 with a five-wicket victory over RawalPindiz at Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday.
Chasing a challenging target of 198, Karachi reached 202-5 with four balls to spare, led by half-centuries from captain David Warner and wicketkeeper-batter Azam Khan.

Karachi made a brisk start but lost opener Muhammad Waseem early, with 27 runs on the board.
Warner then combined with Salman Ali Agha to stabilise the innings through a 43-run partnership. Agha scored 29 before falling in the ninth over.
Azam Khan, promoted up the order, joined Warner and the pair added a decisive 76 runs for the third wicket, shifting momentum firmly in Karachi’s favour.
Warner scored 50 off 36 balls, hitting six fours and a six, before being dismissed by Daryl Mitchell in the 16th over.
Azam continued the assault, top-scoring with 74 off 34 deliveries, including six fours and six sixes, before falling in the penultimate over to Mohammad Amir.
Despite a brief late scare, Abbas Afridi sealed victory with a six in the final over.
RawalPindiz set competitive total
Earlier, RawalPindiz posted 197-6 after being asked to bat first, recovering strongly from an early collapse.
Captain Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed for 21 by Hasan Ali, while Khushdil Shah removed Yasir Khan and Kamran Ghulam in quick succession to reduce them to 55-3.
Mitchell and Sam Billings then rebuilt the innings with a 120-run partnership for the fourth wicket.
Mitchell scored 65 off 41 balls, while Billings added 58 off 35 deliveries, hitting eight fours and a six.
Abdullah Fazal provided late impetus with an unbeaten 17 off eight balls to push the total close to 200.
Hasan Ali was the standout bowler for Karachi, taking 3-24 in four overs.
Khushdil Shah claimed two wickets, while Mir Hamza took one.
For Rawalpindiz, Daryl Mitchell impressed with the ball, picking up 3-32, while Naseem Shah and Mohammad Amir took one wicket each.
