RIYADH: King Saud University of Saudi Arabia, achieved remarkable success at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva, winning a total of seven awards, including three gold medals, one silver medal, and three bronze medals.
The university’s participation this year highlighted a diverse range of innovations spanning medicine, dentistry, medical materials and compounds, mechanical and electrical engineering, agriculture, computer science, and the Internet of Things (IoT), the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
These innovations reflect not only technical excellence but also practical applications that could benefit both local and global communities.
The achievement underscores strong institutional support for researchers and inventors, as well as the university’s commitment to nurturing talent, fostering creativity, and preparing innovators to compete on the international stage.
The awards also reinforce Saudi Arabia’s growing reputation in research and innovation, showcasing the country’s investment in knowledge-based development and its focus on empowering the next generation of scientists and engineers.
