KUWAIT CITY: The U.S. Embassy in Kuwait announced on Tuesday that it is temporarily closing all operations due to ongoing regional tensions.
Both regular and emergency consular appointments have been canceled until further notice. The embassy stated that it will provide updates once normal operations resume.
“For urgent assistance, individuals in Kuwait are advised to dial 112 for local emergency services. U.S. citizens can also contact the State Department’s Consular Affairs at +1-888-407-4747 (toll-free in the U.S.) or +1-202-501-4444”, the embassy said.
