LOS ANGELES: Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have confirmed their relationship on social media, marking a notable step for the high-profile couple.
The 28-year-old makeup mogul attended the Palm Springs International Film Festival to support her partner, 30, during the promotion of his film Marty Supreme.
The two posed for photographs together at the event.
Hours after the festival, Jenner shared pictures of her Marty Supreme-themed look on Instagram, accompanied by orange heart emojis.
Chalamet ‘liked’ the post and left a comment with several matching orange hearts.
Social media users reacted with surprise and excitement, noting that this was the first time the couple had interacted via comments on either of their profiles.
Previously, they had limited their online presence to liking each other’s posts.
Fans quickly expressed enthusiasm, with some writing “omgggg,” jokingly asking, “when is the wedding,” or celebrating the long-awaited interaction.
Private couple despite global fame
Jenner and Chalamet have been dating since April 2023.
Despite their A-list status, the couple has maintained a private relationship, rarely speaking about each other publicly.
A source, cited by People magazine, said that December 2025 had been a special month for the couple.
“It’s been special for Kylie to have Timothée in Los Angeles more in December,” the source said, noting that Jenner had previously travelled to Budapest several times while Chalamet filmed Dune: Part Three.
“They spent a lot of time apart, but the past few weeks have made up for it,” the insider added.
The source also highlighted the challenges of maintaining a high-profile relationship. “Still, it’s not the easiest relationship.
They are both incredibly focused on their careers and ambitious. She’s running a massive business and raising her kids. He’s super focused on being the best at what he does.”
“They are making their careers work and making their relationship work at the same time,” the source said, confirming that the couple is “grateful for what they have.”
Chalamet, meanwhile, received the Spotlight Performance award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival for Marty Supreme.
Jenner’s presence at the ceremony and their public social media interaction underscored the growing openness of the couple after years of privacy.
