DUBAI: India’s Rohit Sharma has reclaimed the No.1 spot in the ICC ODI batting rankings, while Zimbabwe’s veteran all-rounder Sikandar Raza has surged to the top of the T20I all-rounders’ list.
Raza’s exceptional run of form in the ongoing tri-series featuring Pakistan and Sri Lanka has propelled him to the No.1 position. His latest performance, a brisk 37 and four tight overs against Sri Lanka, proved enough to overtake Pakistan’s Saim Ayub.
The 39-year-old, who has consistently remained in the top 10 since the 2022 T20 World Cup, now celebrates a major milestone in his 13-year international journey.
Raza, who recently held the No.1 ODI all-rounder spot in September, is currently ranked second in that format. His blistering 33-ball century also stands as the joint-second fastest hundred in men’s T20Is.
Pakistan’s Mohammad Nawaz climbed to seventh in the T20I all-rounder rankings, while Sahibzada Farhan surged eight places to fourth among batters. Former captain Babar Azam improved five spots to 29th after a half-century in the tri-series.
In ODI rankings, Rohit Sharma returned to the top after New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell missed two matches in the West Indies series, costing him crucial rating points. Rohit has also been appointed ambassador for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway made upward moves in the batting charts, while Shai Hope of the West Indies jumped to eighth following a match-winning century.
The Black Caps also enjoyed gains in bowling rankings, with Mitchell Santner and Matt Henry rising to sixth and joint-10th, respectively.
In Test rankings, Australia’s Travis Head moved to sixth among batters, while Mitchell Starc jumped into the top five bowlers for the first time and climbed to fifth in all-rounders.
England’s Ben Stokes rose to No.2 in the all-rounders’ list, just behind Ravindra Jadeja. However, Australia’s Hazlewood, Boland, Lyon, and England’s Atkinson slipped in the rankings after the Ashes opener.
Joe Root remains the top Test batter, with Harry Brook and Kane Williamson following. Jasprit Bumrah continues to lead the Test bowling rankings ahead of Matt Henry and Pakistan’s Noman Ali.
