ISLAMABAD: Acclaimed Pakistani actor and youth icon Hania Aamir has been appointed as the National Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women Pakistan, a move aimed at strengthening the UN agency’s efforts to promote gender equality and empower women and girls across the country.
The announcement was made through an official post on UN Women Pakistan’s Instagram page, accompanied by photos of Hania at the contract signing ceremony.
“As part of her role, Hania will use her voice and influence to raise awareness, inspire action, and amplify the voices of women and girls across Pakistan,” the organization said.
“Together, we will continue working toward a future where every woman and girl can realize her full potential — free from violence, discrimination, and inequality.”
