LAHORE: Pakistan has sent its 23rd humanitarian aid shipment to Palestine as the war in Gaza continues to deepen the humanitarian crisis. The 100-ton consignment, organized by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in partnership with Alkhidmat Foundation, departed from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport at the weakened.
A statement by the NDMA said the cargo includes flour, rice, cooking oil, pulses, ready-to-eat meals, and canned fruit, bringing Pakistan’s total assistance for Palestinians to 2,227 tons. Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider, who attended the send-off ceremony, reiterated Pakistan’s solidarity with the Palestinian people, condemned Israeli military actions, and urged the international community, particularly Muslim nations, to respond to ongoing violations in Gaza.
