Pakistan Met Office Forecasts Hot and Humid Weather in Most Parts of Country

ISLAMABAD:   Hot and very humid weather is likely to persist in most parts of Pakistan on Monday, Pakistan Met Office forecasts.

However, rain-wind/thundershower is likely at isolated places in Potohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas, according to Pakistan Met Office.

The Met Office said that Islamabad has received 21 mm rain at Bokra during the last 24 hours. It added that in Rawalpindi, New Kattarian has received 19 mm of rain while 16 mm of rain has been recorded in Pirwadhai during the period.

Highest temperature

Chakwal has received 16 mm rain, Kasur 06 mm rain, Mandi Bahauddin 03 mm rain and Sheikhupura 01 mm rain during last 24 hours.

According to the Meteorological Department, the highest temperature was recorded in Nokundi and Dalbandin, where it reached 44 degrees Celsius during last 24 hours.
