Security forces gun down 2 terrorists in Kurrum District of KP: ISPR

RAWALPINDI:  Security forces shot dead two terrorists amid an exchange of firing on Thursday at the Arawali area of Kurram District according to a press release from the ISPR. A huge cache of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the killed terrorists.

According to details, heavy fire exchange took place took place between terrorists and security troops in the general area of Arawali of Kurram District. The security men fought bravely and effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. As a result, two terrorists were killed on the spot. These terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces.

However, during a fierce exchange of fire, three security men also embraced Shahadat namely Subedar Shuja Muhammad (age 43 years, resident of Khairpur), Naik Muhammad Ramzan (age 32 years, resident of Khuzdar) and Sepoy Abdul Rehman (age 30 years, resident of Sukkur) who fought gallantly and engaged the terrorists till the end.

The security men have continued sanitization of the area to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.

The press release further added that Pakistan Army is determined to eradicate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of the brave soldiers further strengthen the resolve against these terrorists.

Indian Involvement in KP, Balochistan creating security issues

The recent increase in terrorist activities in part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan highlighted the reach of Indian involvement and their vicious designs to disturb the peaceful environment in the two provinces. Pakistan has been calling time and again upon the international community and the United Nation to take notice of India’s devious role in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
