The announcement came after a meeting chaired by Secretary Interior Mohammad Khurram Agha and attended by top officials, including Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa.
The Park, which will combine thrilling adventure activities with breathtaking natural beauty, is set to transform the city’s tourism landscape.
Though a final location hasn’t been confirmed, sources suggest the park may be developed near Lake View Park, promising spectacular views and easy accessibility.
The project is part of the CDA’s ongoing efforts to enhance Islamabad’s recreational offerings and promote it as a global tourist hub.
According to CDA officials, the Adventure City Park will feature walking trails, cycling tracks, and cutting-edge eco-friendly infrastructure, designed to not only attract tourists but also cater to the recreational needs of local residents and tourists from outside the city.
As part of the broader vision, the CDA is also working on eco-conscious strategies, including soft landscaping and the plantation of native trees, to enhance the park’s aesthetic appeal while promoting sustainability.
CDA Chairman Randhawa emphasized that the park will meet world-class standards, integrating state-of-the-art facilities such as a Sewage Treatment Plant to ensure environmental sustainability.
The Adventure City Park is expected to be a game-changer for Islamabad, providing a unique blend of adventure and environmental responsibility, all while boosting the city’s profile as one of the most beautiful and tourism-friendly capitals in the world.
With a firm commitment to elevating the city’s tourism sector, the CDA aims to make this ambitious project a reality, offering a space where both locals and visitors can enjoy world-class recreation amid Islamabad’s scenic landscapes.
