Five Ships with Tonnes of Cargo Anchor at Port Qasim

KARACHI: The five ships African Pheasant, CMA CGM Butterfly, Milaha Ras Laffan, Meltemi carrying Containers and Kang Hong carrying Coal, Containers, Mogas, LNG and General Cargo berthed at Port Qasim Electric Power Terminal, Qasim International Container Terminal, FOTCO Oil Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal and Pakistan Gas Port Terminal on Friday.

Meanwhile, 3 more ships NCC Yanbu, Dreggen, and Tiger Glory carrying chemicals, soyabean and palm oil also arrived at the port’s outer anchorage.

Nine cargo ships engaged during last 24 hours

At OQA berths, a total of nine ships were engaged during the last twenty-four hours. Out of these, three ships Saehan Instrasia, CGM Butterfly and Al-Maha left the port in morning while 2 more ships Kang Hong and Milos were expected to leave later in the day.

During the last twenty-four hours, a cargo of the total volume of 164650 tonnes, comprising 128914 tonnes of imported cargo and 25736 tonnes of exports cargo was handled at the port. — APP
