SRINAGAR: Indian occupation troops on Sunday martyred a Kashmiri youth during a cordon and search operation in the Uri area of Baramulla district of the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
This act of state terrorism has drawn strong condemnation from local authorities and residents alike.
According to reports from Kashmir Media Service, the youth was martyred in a fake encounter, further fueling the anger and resolve of the Kashmiri people. In the face of Indian violence, Kashmiris remain steadfast in their commitment to the cause of their martyrs, vowing to continue the struggle for freedom against all odds.
A recent report from Kashmir Media Service stated, “The blood of martyrs will not be betrayed,” emphasizing that the legacy of those who have died for the cause of Kashmir remains a source of unity and determination among the populace.
The report underlined the belief that the freedom struggle of Kashmir is ingrained in the sacrifices of its martyrs and asserted that the people of IIOJK are committed to pursuing their mission with renewed vigor.
Moreover, local leaders have reiterated the importance of upholding the legacy of the martyrs, framing it as a moral obligation for the residents of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Indian National Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has voiced concerns regarding the current political climate, stating that the Constitution is “under attack” by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Speaking at a function in Ranchi ahead of the Jharkhand assembly polls, Gandhi said that no force could impede the implementation of a caste census and the removal of the 50 percent cap on reservations.
