WASHINGTON, USA: Pentagon has denied any role in the reportedly killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and has said that US military were not directly involved.
According to Air Force Major General Patrick Ryder, a Pentagon spokesperson, the United States contributed intelligence related to hostage recovery efforts and the tracking of Hamas leaders. However, Ryder emphasized that the operation itself was conducted solely by Israeli forces.
While U.S. intelligence played a role in enhancing Israel’s understanding of Hamas leadership and their movements, Major General Ryder clarified that no US forces participated in the actual mission.
This statement came amid ongoing hostilities between Israel and Hamas, with increasing international focus on military actions and intelligence cooperation between Israel and its allies.
