ISLAMABAD: The World Health Organization (WHO) has officially declared Pakistan a Trachoma-free country.
In a ceremony held in Islamabad, Dr. Luo Dapeng, head of the WHO mission in Pakistan, presented a congratulatory letter to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
During the event, the Prime Minister lauded the nation for this significant achievement and recognized the contributions of the health ministry, provincial governments, NGOs, and experts involved in this success.
Shehbaz Sharif also underscored the importance of eradicating polio and hepatitis from the country.
