ISLAMABAD: Former Member National Assembly (MNA) of Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Chaudhry Saeed Iqbal was found dead at a guesthouse in Islamabad on Tuesday morning.
According to Islamabad Police, the deceased’s body has been moved to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) to find the actual cause of his death and carry out the medico-legal formalities. The police said a probe was underway to find the cause of the death.
Meanwhile, Pakistan People Party Punjab chapter said via its official Twitter handle that Chaudhry Saeed died of cardiac arrest.
Bilawal Bhutto on the death of PPP lawmaker
Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
He lauded the services of the late lawmaker for Pakistan People Party and his constituency, terming him an “asset” of the party. Bilawal added that Saeed’s absence would always be felt.
