SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has strongly denounced the current bloodshed perpetrated by Indian occupation forces against the people of Kashmir in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement, DFP spokesperson Advocate Arshad Iqbal expressed grave concern over the fresh killings of Kashmiri youth in Kulgam as well as Kuthwa districts, tearing apart the Modi regime’s normalcy mantra in the disputed territory.

The Indian occupation forces have a notorious track record of killing Kashmiri youth in staged and fake encounters,” Iqbal said, condemning the continued bloodbath as well as target killings.

“The unabated killings as well as extrajudicial executions are a deliberate attempt to create an atmosphere of fear and intimidation among the people of Kashmir,” Iqbal said. The DFP spokesperson urged the world to take immediate notice of the deteriorating and grave human rights situation in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir and pressure New Delhi to stop its brutal suppression of the Kashmiri people’s struggle for freedom.

The DFP spokesperson emphasized that New Delhi’s actions are a blatant violation of global norms and human rights, with more than 96,347 people killed by Indian troops since January 1989. The killing fields of Occupied Kashmir are a stark reminder of the suffering endured by Kashmiris for 77 years.

“Freedom from Indian occupation is the only mean to end the people’s sufferings,” Iqbal said. “New Delhi cannot subjugate and terrorize Kashmiris via wanton killings”.
