ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will undertake an official visit to the United States (US) from 14 to 21 of this month, Radio Pakistan reported on Monday. During his stay in the US, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan will take part in multiple multilateral and bilateral engagements in Washington DC and in New York.
The Foreign Minister will also host and chair the Ministerial Conference of the G-77 and China on 15-16 December 2022 in New York. It is the largest negotiating forum of developing countries within the United Nations (UN) system.
Pak-US Ties

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will hold a meeting with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and take part in a high-level debate at the UN Security Council (UNSC) on Wednesday.
He will travel to Washington on 19th December, where the Foreign Minister will hold talks with congressional leaders, high-level government officials, and Pakistani-American businessmen. The Minister will also interact with the media and think tanks during his stay in the US.

Bilateral, and regional matters of mutual interest will be discussed to carry forward the momentum in Islamabad-Washington bilateral ties particularly in areas of investment, trade, climate resilience and economic development during his (Bilawal Bhutto Zardari) official meetings.
Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also share Islamabad’s perspective on the challenge of climate change.
