ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday paid rich tribute to the security forces for a successful operation against Khawarij terrorists and foiled a terrorist attack on FC Headquarters in Mohmand.
The president said in a statement issued by the President’s House, “Our security forces successfully killed all the four Khawarij involved in the terrorist attack”. President Asif Ali Zardari praised the security forces’ effective and courageous action against Khawarij terrorists, adding that the entire nation was proud of its brave forces who were always ready to defend the homeland. The President reiterated that terrorists will not be allowed to succeed in their evil designs.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), “In early hours of 6 September 2024, a group of four Khwarij tried to attack a Frontier Corps Headquarters in Mohmand District”.
The ISPR said, “The attempt to enter the camp was effectively thwarted by the security forces personnel, and resultantly the Khwarij, all four suicide bombers, were sent to hell before they could cause the intended damage”. It added that sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area.
Pakistan security forces stand valiant, with the sheer determination and resolve, to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
