KSrelief Helps Clear 837 Mines in One Week in Yemen

ADEN:  The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief) Masam Project has dismantled 837 mines in different areas of Yemen during the fourth week of August 2024, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.

Under the project, dedicated to clearing mines in Yemen, two anti-personnel mines, 59 anti-tank mines, five explosive devices, and 771 unexploded ordnance were dismantled.

Since the beginning of the project, a total of 456,664 mines have been cleared.

Saudi Arabia remains steadfast in its commitment to clear Yemeni lands of all mines. This menace has resulted in the loss of lives and injuries to innocent people.
