LONDON: Jemima Goldsmith, the former wife of PTI founder has claimed that she was forced to block emails from Pakistan due to alleged cyber harassment. Taking to the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Goldsmith explained to her friends in Pakistan that she had to block all emails from the country because of a targeted cyber harassment campaign.
“To my friends in Pakistan who are genuinely trying to reach me – I’ve had to block all emails from Pakistan due to a cyber harassment operation against me,” Goldsmith wrote in a post on her X account.
She attributed the online harassment to opposition parties, whom she referred to as “PTI’s desperate opponents.”
“Pakistani politics, the gift that keeps on giving, even after leaving the country 20 years ago,” remarked the British film producer, alluding to the ongoing social media campaigns against her due to her past marriage to Imran Khan.
Jemima lived in Pakistan from 1995 to 2004 while married to PTI founder, with whom she has two sons, Sulaiman and Kasim.
