ANF Seizes 43 kg of Drugs in Nationwide Operations

RAWALPINDI:  The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted nine operations across Pakistan, resulting in the recovery of 43 kg of drugs and the arrest of nine individuals, according to an ANF Headquarters spokesperson on Monday.

At Karachi Airport, 3.1 kg of ice and 1,208 intoxicated tablets were seized from two passengers bound for Saudi Arabia and Dubai. In Multan, 25 kg of hashish was recovered from one suspect.

Operations near Ring Road in Peshawar yielded 6 kg of hashish and 900 grams of opium from two suspects, while in Hyderabad, 3 kg of hashish was confiscated from another individual. Additionally, 3.6 kg of hashish and 300 intoxicated tablets were seized near a university in Peshawar. Near Islamabad’s M-2 Toll Plaza, 920 grams of ice were recovered, and in Gilgit, 520 grams of hashish were confiscated.

Cases are registered and investigations are ongoing.
