DUBAI: Renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khana has rejected news regarding his arrest at Dubai Airport and termed it baseless propaganda against him.
On his Instagram account on Monday, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan shared a video from Dubai to dismiss rumors about his arrest and asked his fans not to pay attention to such false news and reports. The legendary singer has clarified that he was simply asked a few routine questions by the authorities. He categorically stated that he was not arrested by the authorities at the airport.

Earlier, some media outlets reported that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was arrested at the Dubai Airport.
According to the reports, the singer was apprehended due to the complaints filed by Salman Ahmad, his former manager, to the Dubai authorities. The singer ended his contract with his former manager due to disagreements over various issues.
The ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’ singer had traveled to Dubai for a concert when the incident occurred.
