Pakistan Announces Test Series Squad Against England

LAHORE: National Cricket Team Chief Selector Muhammad Waseem on Monday announced an 18-member squad for the upcoming series against England.

“All players selected have performed in the past,” said Waseem at a press conference in Lahore.

England will tour Pakistan for a three-match test series scheduled in December. The teams will play the first test match in Rawalpindi on 1-5 December 2022.

Multan will host the second test match from 9-13 December, whereas the teams will play the final test in Karachi from 17-23 December.

Pacer Shaheed Afridi has not been named in the squad as he recovers from a knee injury.

Ali, M. Nawaz, M. Wasim Junior, Naseem Shah, Nauman Ali, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfraz Ahmad, Saud Shakeel, Shan Masood and Zahid Mahmood.
